‘Authentis\u2019 refers (of course) to authenticity. My one-man company serves as a vehicle to go beyond academia. <\/em>I love\u00a0the real world quest for mission and purpose in commercial and public organizations. In the Netherlands and abroad, I give workshops and interactive seminars, helping with hands on\u00a0development of personal purpose and meaning, based on scientific insights. Also in the context of existential meaning and major life events.\u00a0 In these areas, I have conducted research, as well as provided professional training for\u00a0societal and policy institutes (e.g. the World Health Organization, Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, the Netherlands Kidney Foundation, National Foundation Bereavement). Together with Stefan Tax, I have developed organization-wide mission and vision articulation for high-profile cultural organizations (Museum Boymans van Beuningen, Rotterdam; Museum Volkenkunde, Leiden) and developed a ground-breaking method (REAL Research<\/em>) for teaching scientific research skills in a experiential training context.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
